The Birth Of Indus Valley Civilsation

Indus Valley Civilisation began c.2500BC. It first started when the Dravidia
settled in the Indus Plain and started to built cities such as Harappa,
Mohenjo-Daro and Dholavira

At c.1500BC there was a decline of The Indus Valley Civilisation as

there was severe floods which killed many people forcing them to leave.

Worst of all there was invasion by another group of people the Aryans

which speeds up the rate of decline. The Aryans were people who came

from the western part of Asia and they settled in the Ganges of Indus Valley

and worked as Grain Farmers. Over the next few centuries there was a mixing

of the culture of the Indus people and The Aryans.This was the begining of Indian

culture we knew today.

As for this picture above it is d great bath this is a public bath that

archaeologists believed was used for religious bathing. Now have u all ever wondered what are the people occupation??
Here is d answer people there work as traders who sells as well as purchase

products from other region. People also work as pirests who carry out religious

rituals and crafsmen who ceate pottery and bronze tools. Farmers who produce food.

Next Indus Valley people even have a uniform writting system as seals which people

used for trades had writting and this indicated that the people had an uniform

Indus Valley Civilisation

Indus Valley is a well-planned city with an efficent government. As this government provided people with shelter against foriegn enemies. A complex drainage system n food stored for comsumption. The 1st image shows the Citadel which people in Indus Valley could take shelter if an enemy attacked the city.

The 2nd image shows Mohenjo-daro world's first complex underground drainage system. Some drains brought water to house n some carried waste away. See how complex it is?? N the drainage system was build 4000 yrs ago!!!
